Vic; Building employers to lock out workers on Saturday

MELBOURNE, Feb 7 AAP - Victorian building industry employers will lock their workers
out of job sites on Saturday unless unions suspend a series of strikes set to cost the
State tens of millions of dollars.

Responding to the first of the planned strikes today by thousands of building workers
across the State, the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) put the cost of the
industrial action at $23 million and said unions had put employers' backs to the wall.
