DELTA OFFERS BUYOUTS ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines Monday offered a voluntary earlyretirement program to about 3,000 employees in a bid to cut costs andreturn the nation's third-largest air carrier to sustainedprofitability. The airline said early retirement will be offered toemployees in selected departments based on staffing and businessneeds.
