Previous High Grade Scientist of Yahoo to Join MediaV

BEIJING, Jul 04, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- According to news from July 4, MediaV has claimed to set up a R&D center in Beijing. Meanwhile, Dr. Liu Peng, the previous high grade scientist of Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), will join MediaV and become its chief scientist.

To found this R&D center in Beijing, MediaV aims to expand the field of advertising technology, to enrich the production lines, and to absorb outstanding Internet-related technological talents. Meanwhile, Wei Xiaoyong, the high grade technological inspector general of MediaV, will be the general manager of this oncoming Beijing-based center. He will take charge of the establishment and management of the R&D group.

Besides assisting the technological group in the head office of Shanghai and responding to the technological requirement of the business department of Beijing, this new center will also research and develop a Demand Side Platform.

Dr. Liu Peng graduated from Department of Electronic Engineering in Tsinghua University. He once acted as high grade scientist in Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Yahoo. After joining MediaV, Dr. Li will be in charge of some core technologies there.
